Our first day on Maui was relaxing yet eventful. When we arrived to the beach we were welcomed by a monk seal sunbathing with the other beach-goers. Later, we snorkeled along side three sea turtles! They were the biggest sea turtles we have ever seen while snorkeling. We haven't been to the beach in ages so today is exactly what we needed! More to come...

"This Never Happened Before"
I love coming across songs that remind me of my love. Of course Paul McCartney has written a lot of our favorites...I have failed to recognize this song, even though I have listened to it a number of times.
For Tommy...Compliments of Sir Paul McCartney
Also...over this past weekend we were able to see whales just off the Laie Point. I was able to witness them do some tricks here and there. They have been hanging out for a couple of days now, we're hoping to catch some video footage.
Midterms are over! We pretty much came out unscathed...4-5 weeks until finals. Don't remind me...
I have yet to touch my running shoes since this semester has started. Shame on me! The bike path from Laie to Kahuku is now paved...leaving me with no more excuses as to why I don't exercise {that and my love for Coke products}.

Always Coca-Cola
This is just a snap shot of our ever increasing addiction to Coke. We plead guilty in the case of falling for those 3 for $12 bargains at Foodland - that's 3, 12 packs for $12! Who could pass that up?!
We constantly stock our fridge to ensure that there will always be a cold one waiting for us...and our next meal. I have even been guilty of sneaking one to school...before the 8:00 hour {rock bottom}. Our addiction runs deeper than our affinity for Coke's flavor, it truly is one of the only things that makes us happy! It is our one simple pleasures that makes us feel like we can access our previous lifestyle if only for a moment. Plus I am always battling to balance that fine line of salty & sweet...if I keep Coke my constant sweet, I usually win. Consider my New Year's Resolution officially down the drain...
